Yesterday I received payment via paypal for an online consultation. In a nutshell, the client had read a previous post on andropause and he needed information on finding a specialist within his area. I found doctors and resources to get him well on his way to male hormone replacement therapy.
You can probably tell that I enjoy researching, writing and helping people. Finding information is fun, but the big motivation to prioritize the search was the fact he paid me in advanced. I provided route maps from his zip code to the clinics, as well as access to a national andropause awaremess network in the USA. Since doctors listen for keywords on the psychological aspect of andropause, I mentioned to list various complains such as lowered libido (even though he thinks it is normal). There is no need for false bravado, as saying that everything is fine is a common lie men tell their doctors although struggling with maintaining erections at times.
Dig deep down, find real concerns as you age, and tell the doctor the truth (or ask your partner for observations). Loss of sexual vitality affects your sexual partners as well, so it is in everyone's best interest to stay in top hormonal shape if you want to continue with a healthy sexual relationship.
